Why renewable energies are no longer only a crucial solution for tomorrow but are needed today for world peace and a secure future. Ilyess El Kortbi is a 25-year-old Ukrainian climate activist from Kharkiv. In March 2019 he founded a local group and co-founded Fridays For Future Ukraine. In March 2022, they left the war in their hometown to campaign for peace and climate protection in in Europe.
