Diana Enriquez is an economic researcher and urban explorer for Locus Analytics, a Think Tank based in New York City. She runs surveys on informal economic ecosystems and designs maps to explain these ecosystems in the context of local economies. Diana is exploring the lines between formal and informal economies, highlighting places where formal and informal economies intersect, interact and learn from each another. Her previous field work includes research in Bogota and Medellin, Colombia, Mexico City, Mumbai, Boston, New Haven and New York City. She writes about the undocumented immigrant population in the United States, the US-Mexico Border, Remittances, black markets in Latin America, Drug Cartel activity in Mexico and Colombia, and Organizational Structures. She loves the TEDx community and co-founded TEDxYale in 2012. She graduated from Yale University in 2013.
